The Noble Mission
The purpose of the Albert C. Noble Mission is to promote a culture of literacy and lifelong learning in Bristol by increasing the use of and appreciation of library services.
Albert C. Noble’s generous bequest to the library has made possible such programs as the Discovery Series, salaries for Foundation and library staff, as well as supplemental funding for other programs such as the Patricia Freedman Literacy Academy and numerous outreach programs.
His commitment to our library and his vision for the library as a font of literacy and discovery for the community are deeply appreciated by us all.
