Patricia Freedman Literacy Academy
Since 1987, the library’s Patricia Freeman Literacy Academy has helped residents with instruction for lifelong learning. Promoting literacy skills and helping individuals excel in the workforce are very important parts of the literacy program.
The Patricia Freedman Literacy Academy offers classes and assistance for the following:
• GED preparation
• Reading, writing and math skills
• Computer skills
• Resume writing
• Military tests
• English as a second language
• College entrance exams
